The NFL is was and will be a beast. It’s almost untouchable.

Kids play football with their friends. They don’t play baseball. They buy hats, sneakers that have been endorsed, jerseys, shirts, mugs....

The TV revenue is off the charts. The NFL isn’t going anywhere. They’re past the kneeling, they’re past Kaepernick....

Full steam ahead.

On an NFL related note, I was checking out the Alliance of American Football which is somehow partially owned or something by the NFL. In week one it was good, there were some bone crushing hits and no flags, football the way it used to be. Everybody who payed attention was excited to see a league where players were allowed to play.

This week it was a flag fest. I have to assume that the NFL didn't like being criticized with the comparison and put the word out: call it like we do or else. It was fun while it lasted (all of one week)

How many baseball players are doing product endorsements these days?

That’s always a good barometer of the popularity of the sport. Most players these days are interchangeable, all teams kind of look the same, with the same mix of Dominican players.
