For example if a woman is having problems with the timing of her ‘time of the month,’ she make take them to regulate her period and get it and her ovulation back on track. Just one example.

It's usually more than the timing of her cycle.

Often it's the debilitating cramps and uncontrolled bleeding that motivate a woman to go on the pill.
