Hard to tell what they’re going to do with this story. In the comics, Rick plays a huge part in it. I’m thinking maybe Daryl takes that role on ...maybe?

Daryl’s missing his wingman/”brother”.
Symbolism was supposed to be for Rick “dying”.
It’s been gone since the first episode after the 6 year time jump.
Could also be part of the X scar on the back mystery shared by he and Michonne.
But where the hell was Dog tonight?
She was in the mood to whip somebody and everyone else is too big?
Daryl saw the beating scars and that was it.
He ain’t giving her back to Mommy Dearest.
