Sounds like the shooter knew the store clerk. Jilted lover? Or he could have been hired by someone else to take her out.

Yeah, my thought too. And the other murder next door could be the distraction needed to murder the lady. Says she was a newly wed. Wonder?

Not sure how you're dubbing all that in. There's nothing in the report even remotely suggesting the shooters knew the victim.

Per the data in the article, it sounds like the store clerk was an older female of Indian/Pakistani extraction, while the shooters (given the deafening roar of their ommitted races) were very likely 'aspiring rappers, on the verge of turning their lives around.'

I doubt the clerk had ever seen them before.

https://www.nbcdfw.com/news/local/Lewisville-Convenience-Store-Clerk-Shot-to-Death-During-Armed-Robbery-505886071.html

In November 2018, Suresh “Sam” Shah, the owner of a liquor store in the shopping center next to the Valero gas station, was shot and killed during an armed robbery in the parking lot. Police have not made any arrests in his slaying.

"My family is still shattered so I don't even know how to collect pieces completely yet," said Bina Shah, his wife.

Shah said her husband knew Lakhani well saying the clerk even offered condolences when he passed away.

The Lewisville Police Department said so far, they have no evidence the two killings are linked, despite the close proximity in location.

---

Coincidence? There is still a possiblity that this is linked in my opinion. I missed this connection before.
