Australia supermare Winx broke a new record on Saturday, becoming the first Australian horse to win 30 consecutive races. The 7-year-old daughter of Street Cry captured the Group 2 Apollo Stakes at Randwick for a third time, extending her unbeaten streak and kicking off what is expected to be her final season of racing under regular jockey Hugh Bowman.
My gelding is running today, hoping for 3 in a row with him. I can’t even imagine having a mare like her.
