Not only was the Spectrum da bomb for concerts, but after every show there were dudes outside selling bootleg shirts, and soft pretzels (with optional mustard, of course) and soda for $1 a pop.

Pile the Broad Street Bullies and Dr. J and Moses Malone and 'Chocolate Thunder' into the mix, and it was the best place to grow up in the 1970s/1980s (if you ignore that little thing called MOVE...).
