ROBBIE Williams is "tormenting" neighbour Jimmy Page by blasting Black Sabbath and dressing up his Led Zeppelin bandmate Robert Plant, a letter claims.
The pair have been locked in a feud over the Take That star's plans for a mega-basement pool at his £17.5million mansion in London.
Page, 75, insists the work would damage his Grade I listed home with its valuable mosaics.
The plans were were passed by the council last month.
But according to a bizarre letter sent to the council, written by a man named only as 'Johnny'.
It claims Robbie was aping Led Zep singer Plant by wearing a long wig and stuffing a pillow up his shirt as a fake beer belly.
Robbie strongly denies the claims.
The note, to Kensington and Chelsea borough says the Angels singer has been blaring out Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd and Deep Purple whenever he sees Plant outside.
Posted on line, it reads: "It has come to my attention of possible new evidence and information that could have a bearing on the ruling or any appeal process.
The committee may not have been aware that Robbie Williams has been playing loud 70's rock music on outside speakers when he views Jimmy Page outside his home.
"What's been most annoying is that Mr Williams has played rock arch rival bands Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd and Deep Purple.
"He obviously knows this upsets Mr Jimmy Page.

Peter Grant threatened Grand Funk Railroad's manager to force them to get off the tour with Zep because GFR was blowing them off the stage.
Heh, you can bet if Peter Grant was still alive, Robbie would be missing a few body parts by now.
I went to the Scorps a couple of years ago, and they kicked butt! You’ve only heard the “Easy Listening” version of ‘The Zoo’, btw. It was the 4th song of their first set, and had they walked offstage, I would have been satisfied, they tore it up so well.
I have “Hammer of the Gods” on my bookshelf. Seeing this article makes me want to re-read it.
I also sincerely doubt that Mr. Page gives a rat’s patoot about the music being played by his ever-so-friendly neighbour, it’s the potential for structural damage to his historical building from the constrution next-door that has him concerned.
You can throw Richie Blackmore into the mix.
I saw Gilmour in 1984. Solid show, but he hadn't really gained his solo sea legs, yet.
I would recommend the "Remember That Night" and "Live at Pompeii" DVDs.
Just brilliant.
I wished I could have seen Gilmour when he played with Pete Townshend on the “White City” tour.
That’s him on “Give Blood”.
One little nit...
Sabbath also had the better bass player. He was a single instrument guy though.
And a helluva song writer when combined with Iommi’s riffs.
Here’s a relatively modern (Pre-13) version of Sabbath at their first big reunion...1998

Page’s arguement is that he lives in a Class 1 property which is historical landmark status in Britain. Williams mansion is not , its an ordinary mansion.
Williams is digging underground very near the property and actually disturbing the foundation. Its actually causing the Tower House hallways to require support and walls having to be reinforced. it is costing page construction costs to keep sections from crumbling due to instable foundation.
The person who designed that house is considered Britains Frank Loyd Wright. Anything he is associated with becomes protected status.
That was supposedly the first real, big venue where Van Halen played, when they opened for Black Sabbath, in 1978. That's why Van Halen shot the video for Panama at the Spectrum.
Agreed. I’m perfectly OK with the mandate that the excavation work be done by hand, because the vibrations from the heavy equipment will likely impinge upon Page’s property rights.
Truth be told, in some ways the Dio verison of Sabbath (v2.0) was better than the latter v1.0 version and reunited v1.5 (without Bill Ward). Neon Knights was a spectacular piece of new music, and while Dio isn’t Ozzy, Ozzy also isn’t Dio.
I would love to have alternate history versions of Dio doing the first six Sabbath albums and Ozzy doing the Elf/Rainbow albums. Not that I don’t love all the originals, it would just be cool to hear the different vocal.
Freegards
