Yesterday’s puzzle was a good one for many of you, (some of whom are getting quite cocky lol). Many picked up on the 5-letter word “NEVER” with the same 2nd and 4th letters. Other’s caught the contraction CAN’T right out of the gate, and it was all downhill from then. Some of you recognized the common letters ETRNAS etc. Please share how you solved yesterday’s puzzle with the group.
Yesterday my first catch was the contraction, followed by “the”. That led to the n and two e’s in never....voila’
Today’s was pretty easy too. Maybe just a little cocky.
I’m sure I’ll get schlonged on the next.
Today was all about the little words for me.
Nice one today, not too easy but not too hard. The single letter can only be one choice and the two letters then can’t use that choice. getting the starting letter for the two letter words that share a first and have a different last letter opened the door.
