How about a late term abortion though. That’d be okay right?

I’m not into trophy hunting.
And, it’s not like he actually hunted it down.
Here it is... now point and shoot.

It’s his business but I could find a thousand things more worthy of spending that kind of money on. I’m not impressed.

“At Democratic Underground...”
They think animals are immortal if they aren’t hunted.

I won’t call for his death. But I will call him stupid. Yes, it’s his money. He can do whatever is legal with that money. But spending $110,000 to shoot a rare goat is like spending $110,000 to shoot a rare painting.
I’d advise him to spend $50 for a deer license instead. Then spend the rest of the money to help put a relative through school. But that’s just me. That guy can do whatever he wants.

Astor Markors are tremendous methane spewers! They are easily hunted by listening for their loud windies which can be heard for miles.
During rut males try to blow rivals off the steep mountain sides with their explosive flatulence.
Gutting this animal can be deadly if an intestine is inadvertently nicked.

Guess the hardest part of the hunt was going to “Pahkistahn”. Sounds like he was basically able to walk up to it and shoot it. Really beautiful animal. I’d rather see it alive.
I’m not against hunting. But I find some kills more disturbing than others.

He’s going to wish he had not published his name or his face.
People are so nuts these days.
Or, he may not really care.
To: Simon Green
My opinion of the hunter is pretty low, not for killing the animal, but for spending $110,000 to do it.

Why couldnt the pakistanies sell him the animal instead...let the buyer spend his money taking care of it...maybe breed more to keep the species alive...let his specimen die of old age will ya......got to admit...it is a beautiful animal...why kill it?

Good for him. Trophy hunting in Africa and other places help save species by bringing in big bucks to help conservation of the animals and curtail poaching.

After perusing the comments, I thought I had somehow logged on to a left wing hair on fire political website. Maybe I have....
Wow.
I prefer to kill what meat I eat. It tastes better that way and is a whole lot more than just food. If I could only convince the missus warrior that wild sheep is actually more cost effective and good for her than the cattle in the pasture or the chickens in the coop....

He didn't spend $110,000 to "hunt" the goat, he spent $110,000 to do something that very few people have ever done.
He may have also done it with the conservation of the species in mind, since he is one of the few who can afford to do that, as well.
Either way, the monetary part was about uniqueness, not about a (non-)hunt.

"...markhor hunting..."
Would it make some here feel more comfortable if I told you I was a trained veterinarian and the color of the markhors hooves indicate late-stage goat cancer and he would have undoubtedly expired by next Tuesday night?
