The last thing I want to do is shut down alternate points of view. In my mind that is a very un-conservative thing to do. Let the idiots speak. They expose who the Dems really are and wind up making our point, sometimes, better than we do.

I agree with you. But society only wants to hear what supports their biases. They don’t want to let ideas or the people who push them sink or swim based on merit.
