I like the old skinny tire HO cars. You can put Johnny Lightning bodies on them and AFX cars. The new cars have magnets on the bottoms and hardly fall off the track anymore.

Growing up in the 70’s-80’s the huge Funspot Arcade in Laconia, NH had a huge slot car racing track, unfortunately it is now long gone.
Still a very cool arcade though. it’s actually a arcade videogame museum with almost every video arcade machine ever made available to play.
Great place but still i miss the slot cars..

Cool, but every boy growing up in the late 60s wanted a Hot Wheels Mongoose & Snake Drag Race Set.
My brother and I got one in 1969/70 and played with them for hours.
