We traveled often and I found it to be really wonderful to live among other cultures.
Now, I’m more of a homebody, but I still find learning about other countries to be interesting. I just don’t want to move there now. :)
In ultra liberal Canada what they are boldly saying is not takya,but the opposite.
Takya is lying about your true beliefs in order to avoid persecution or to get a foothold in an unfriendly society. It’s basically camouflaging who you really are.
So they would be using takya if they came out and spouted all the liberal position, but they do the opposite in their social platforms.
In other areas they do sound like socialists.

This story is a yet another example of why young British girls will become increasingly more attracted to macho, chauvinistic, Muslim men.
British men are either: a) Transgender, b) Filled with toxic male guilt, c) Filled with Colonialist guilt, d) Clinically depressed over climate change, and, therefore, in no mood to procreate, d) Too nihilistic to want to fight or sacrifice for anyone or anything, or e) All of the above.
This pretty much applies to all Western men, except in Red State America and Israel.
“When the Muslims finally take over it’ll be an improvement.” I once read that Mohammad conquered the Near East so easily because the existing authorities were so corrupt.
And the vandals and the huns had a fairly easy time with Rome after it became a decadent cesspool.
If more people would REFUSE to play the ‘pretend’ game, we wouldn’t have this ridiculousness.

Maybe. Though, there seem to be a lot of women that appear to be OK with that system, even when exposed to the west.
Islam may be a bit to one extreme, but I would contend that we on the west have gone way over on the other extreme with the libertine, immodest, hedonistic, do what you want culture. Something in the middle of these two extremes might be the right place to be. Freedom must be bounded by personal responsibilities. Liberals in the west want freedom without personal consequences - they want to use the state to alleviate those consequence. You’re a 17 year old girl, promiscuous, get pregnant. No problem, the state will either pay for your abortion, or pay to support you and your child, and society will put you on a pedestal as a “courageous single mom”.
Our culture is certainly nothing to brag about, and it’s circling down the sewer faster with each passing day.
I tend to think that this culture war between the west and Islam may eventually be resolved by agreeing to some middle ground approach, which will be good for everyone concerned.
I doubt there will be a middle ground once they take over.
Women wear hijabs voluntarily? Out of respect for Islam? I don’t think so.
Can I beat my wife tonight? Honor killings? Really?
Mafias (disguised as religions) don’t work that way.
