"What a work of art - this 1970 GTO Judge Convertible has it all.
House of Kolor paint, engine, exhaust, technical displays. You name it.
Well done"

Kevin isn’t actually my blood brother,
he is a fellow Knight of Columbus,
we often refer to each other as brothers.
I remember Irish Eyes when it was just a frame in his garage.
The suspension isn’t factory... at all.
One sweet ride.

Really nice cars!! they could really build them then.. Now all cars look the same. If they didnt put their name on them it would be hard to name each car.. Lol! Amen to that.

Tell him, if you can, that the car is beautiful, as if he didn’t already know. Probably the best looking ‘70 GTO I’ve ever seen.

Thank federal mileage legislation for forcing cars into a design box with little room for variation. That’s why they look like scarab beetles and can’t be told one for the other.
My 2002 Sebring looks better than anything out there.

Kevin has a real knack for the details, the underside is almost as meticulously done as the topside. He won a free custom paint job at one of the shows and he had them paint a (mirror image) tribute to twins that he and his wife lost to miscarrige :/
Irish Eyes may just outlive all of us.

Beautiful car and color. I agree. Had to go with a somewhat unusual color for a showstopper like this. There are several shades of green that I really like on cars, particularly when combined with the right finish. ie, metallic, metalflake, pearl, etc.

How about one of these on a drag strip with its front wheels four feet in the air doing what it does best. Go fast. They are still holding NHRA records almost 50 years later. I am referring to the Cuda.

I am glad to say that I saw most of the big time cars during my drag racing days. Unfortunately the big time track closest to us closed a few years ago so there is not much available to us. I did go last April to a strip called Beaver Springs in Pa. They have what they call a Ford FE reunion. It was great to see the cars doing what they were meant to do. I will be going again this year.

Nice car, ugly color.--Fresh Wind
I think that shade of green looks great on the car.
In any case, although that particular green wasn't an original Pontiac color for the car, the Judge came in many others colors, most popular/common by far was orange.
I didn't even know they came in other colors besides orange. Looks great in white, IMO.

GTO (name)
The name, which was DeLoreans idea, was inspired by the Ferrari 250 GTO, the successful race car. It is an Italian abbreviation for Gran Turismo Omologato (grand tourer homologated), which means officially certified for racing in the grand tourer class.
But in reality, the Pontiac GTO was never really a certified Grand Tourer race car. Internally, it was initially called the Grand Tempest Option, one of many automobiles in the Pontiac line up with a Grand in it. Despite these things, the GTO is one of the fastest cars ever manufactured by Pontiac.

Which one? The 70 GTO in general? Or the bright green one at the top?

I like that body design better. Maybe because I loved my ‘64 Malibu SS and the look of the platform.

IMO, GTO doesn't get any better than the '66 and '67.
Blue and red cars above.
