Thank goodness for multiple OFF days. It lets my goosebumps die down after all the exciting splitter to spoiler tank racing.

Can’t wait for Cirque D’Soleil to get a ride.. having clowns dancing around on top of the cars would add some element of inclusiveness. Racing in Vegas all 36 races would work for me too.

Change is good, or so I heard a long time ago. Diversity Baby, Diversity.

And now news from The TWILIGHT ZONE, Courtesy ROD SERLING while looking through the empty skulls of NUTSCAR brainless trust...

NASCAR moves toward new sponsor model despite Monster’s offer
By Nate RyanApr 8, 2019, 12:00 PM EDT

NASCAR is moving forward with a new multitiered approach to title sponsorship despite overtures from Monster Energy about returning for a fourth year as primary backer of its premier series.

A person with direct knowledge of the talks confirmed Monster’s interest to NBC Sports and said it’s probable there will be three tiers in 2020 to replace the traditional title sponsor model. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly about negotiations.

The news that Monster had offered to extend its title sponsorship was first reported by the Sports Business Journal, which also reported that the company could become a lower-level partner.

MonsterEnergy offered to extend its title sponsorship of @NASCAR’s Cup Series for one additional year through 2020, sources say, but NASCAR rejected the overture because it's set on switching to the new tiered model:

NASCAR initially revealed its new plan for title sponsorship a year ago while announcing Monster’s one-year extension through the 2019 season. NASCAR President Steve Phelps said then it was “highly unlikely” that Monster would return as the sole title sponsor of the Cup Series, which it joined in 2017 in replacing Sprint.

The new sponsorship model will bundle assets from NASCAR, its tracks, TV networks and teams in hopes of increasing value to make it easier to sell to prospects.

In a Nov. 18 news conference at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Phelps said there had been “a significant number of meetings with potential sponsors.

“There is a general excitement around what the model could be and where it’s going. So, I’m bullish on making sure that we have the right sponsors in there, and I’m bullish that it’s going to do what it is intended to do, which is to make sure that we are getting sponsors at that highest level and rewarding them for what they do for our sport.”

IT IS !!! How did they come up with this goofy crap.

I’ll bet if We lined up the brainless family and shine a flashlight in the Left Ear of the first one and go to the other end of the line and look in the Right Ear of the last one in line, It would be just as bright at the end as the beginning because there is nothing to obstruct the Beam.

Longtime Stewart-Haas Racing employee killed in crash..

Stewart-Haas Racing is mourning the loss of long-time employee Shawn Soules, who was killed in a motorcycle/car crash Tuesday night near Statesville, North Carolina.

According to the Mooresville (N.C.) Tribune, Soules, 47, of Kannapolis, N.C., was riding his motorcycle southbound on NC State Highway 3 when it collided with a BMW passenger car driven by Douglas Catropa, 47, of Mooresville.

According to a report by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, Catropa was traveling north on Highway 3 when his vehicle turned left onto Johnson Dairy Road and collided with Soules’ motorcycle.

Soules reportedly died at the scene, while Catropa was uninjured, according to the police report, which stated Catropa was wearing a seatbelt and that impairment or phone distraction are not suspected. The report also stated Soules was wearing a helmet and that impairment or excessive speed are not suspected.

The Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.

In a statement to NBC Sports.com, Stewart-Haas Racing president Brett Frood said: “We are grieving the loss of one of our own. Shawn Soules was an exceptional member of Stewart-Haas Racing whose expertise, passion and genuine fun-loving personality will be greatly missed and remembered. This is a tragic loss for the entire racing community and we are committed to providing support to Shawn’s family and colleagues during this difficult time.”

Rodney Childers, crew chief for the No. 4 SHR Ford Mustang of Kevin Harvick, tweeted about the loss of Soules early Wednesday morning.

Interesting story about running cup and IRL at the same track. When CART ran at Fontana, the trucks raced on Saturday. It was really the best day to go, you had CART practice and then a truck race.
