Interesting story about running cup and IRL at the same track. When CART ran at Fontana, the trucks raced on Saturday. It was really the best day to go, you had CART practice and then a truck race.

IIRC that was the same year that IRL couldn’t run at Texas because the Combined Lateral & Vertical G’s was causing Drivers to “Grey Out” Vision and they refused to Race.

I don’t know. I’ll speculate NUTSCAR. I’m wondering about Hauler parking.

I think that they should run both at the same time. After all the IMSA runs 3 Classes on the same Track at the same time and there’s a big difference in performance.

Heck they could go all Madmax- Thunderdome on each other. Or in the tradition of NUTSCAR inconsistencies have the Pit Crews swap jobs. 1 spindle nut vs 5 lugnuts, what could possibly go wrong ? And the following Race have the Crewmembers swap Tasks on the different locations on the Cars.
