Skynyrd fun fact...
Ed King, who co-wrote “Sweet Home Alabama” and played opening lead riff, was originally in a SoCal psychedelic band called “Strawberry Alarm Clock” who had a few hits.

I think Steve Marriott may very well have been the best frontman ever in rock, it’s criminal he wasn’t considered up with the likes of Robert Plant.

And I think when he died, he and Frampton were about to reunite Humble Pie.

No kidding! It is better music. Everything rhythms so it is easier to follow the song.. Great music from the 1950’s 60’s and 70’s...

While in college, I went to a concert featuring the Supremes, the Four Tops and the Temptations and Little Anthony and the Imperials....for ten bucks! The first record album that I ever owned was one from The Supremes.

Morrison's "Wavelength" album is great! Every song a great song. Like The Allman Brothers "Brothers and Sisters" LP.

Wow, I tend to think of him as a 60s and 70s guy (Gloria was a favorite of mine in high school). But he really did have a long career, didn’t he?
