“so, do you want to store these photos in the cloud, or in a seal’s colon?”

I would bet on a Sandisk.
They’re really sturdy.

I wonder if it’s in the same body of water that I lost my ar-15 in.

I saw a long gone Brit IT show called Click Online.
One of the hosts did a multitude of abusive things to a jump drive and still worked.
Driving over it, washer and dryer and some other stuff. All that was left was the board and it looked about ready to crumble.
Plugged in and it the drive still worked.

Given the content of this thread I will accept that statement at face value. I will NOT ask you how you came to know this!

Given a choice between that and pics of Chuck and Nancy I’ll go with the seal shit.

Just did a quick check for waterproof and shockproof USBs and there are so many more than I would have expected. Below is one online rating websites selection of best 10.
BUT THE REAL LIFE DEMONSTRATION in the seal's digestive track would blow all nerd ratings out of the water.
1- Corsair Flash Survivor Stealth
2- Samsung Bar USB Flash Drive
3- Gorilla Drive
4- SanDisk Extreme CZ80
5- SanDisk Extreme Pro 128 GB Drive
6- Farsler 32 GB Fingerprint Thumb Drive
7- Kingston Digital USB Drive
8- SanDisk iXpand 128 GB
9- Silicon Power 64 GB Flash Drive
10- Verbatim Dog Tag Rugged USB Flash Drive
