Party of Five is officially coming back!
Freeform has announced the pickup of a Party of Five reboot series from the series original creators Amy Lippman and Chris Keyser. The one-hour drama, which was given a 10-episode order from the network, is said to follow the five Acosta children as they navigate daily life struggles to survive as a family unit after their parents are suddenly deported to Mexico. The series stars Brandon Larracuente as Emilio, Emily Tosta as Lucia, Niko Guardado as Beto, and Elle Paris Legaspi as Valentina. The pilot was co-written by Lippman, Keyser, and Michal Zebede.

It would seem that if keeping the family together was important to them, the parents shouldn’t have come to the US illegally....

Why not change the name to “Five for Fighting” and make it a sitcom about an entire family of hockey players? Just an idea.
