A McDonald’s customer was arrested after calling police to complain about his Big Mac hamburger having onions – and challenging the restaurant’s manager to a fist fight.

Leslie McDonagh, 53, was visiting the fast food chain in Manchester, England, around 10:30 p.m. on a Friday when he claims he received the “wrong meal” that he could not eat because of a “severe allergy” to onions, Metro reported.

According to Metro, McDonagh, who had been drinking prior to visiting the McDonald’s, threatened to fight the manager before calling 911 to report the mixed-up meal.

999, 911, and 112 all work in most places in England and the rest of Europe esp. with smart phones. 911 has become the meme, so that’s what most people say even in Europe. Most smart phones also have other “SOS” functions. Learn your phone. That said, it is best to use the right number if you have a real emergency.

The whole “food allergy” thing is out of control. Everybody has to be special in some way. If you don’t like something, just say you don’t like it. For instance, I don’t like wax beans but I don’t go around saying I’m allergic to them.

“You mean you don’t call the police and challenge someone to a fistfight if you have problems with an order at a fast food place?”

That’s how I always handle it! Sometimes call in Forest Rangers to join in the brawl, too.

If you’re dining out and get a utensil that’s not clean, this is how you handle it:

Exactly what normal people do. They return it and asked for another burger without onions.

McDonald's is not fine dining and the employees they attract are just learning and many are not rocket scientists.

When I go to McDonalds and asked for a sausage-cheese-muffin, they invariably give my an egg-sausage-cheese-muffin instead. I just ask for the correct one without egg and you don't have to threaten the employee to a fistfight to get it.

At least this didn't happen in Florida where I live. Most of these stories seem to come out of Florida for some reason.

Yes. It is really noticeable when a UK comedy has an American version.

“Shameless” isn’t bad here, but the British original is brutally funny.

“Man About the House” led to “Three’s Company,” which feminized the lead, sapped the raunch out, and killed its edge.

Thank goodness we got the originals of “Are You Being Served?” “Fawlty Towers,” and the “Young Ones,” without having to go through the pap machine.

Indeed. I worked with a guy that had an onion-stuff allergy. You couldn’t even CUT any allium in the lunchroom with him there, or off to the emerg with him.

They could never hope to make an American version of “Yes, Minister.”

I first saw Monty Python in Canada on the CBC. The wife and I loved it but thought the humor would go over the heads of Americans. Not long after, it came out in the US to obvious success despite the fact that much of the humor did in fact escape our grasp.

All across North America it is 911, and in Britain it’s 999. Well, Britain and Ireland. And Bahrain, Bangladesh, Botswana, Ghana, Hong Kong, Kenya, Macau, Malaysia, Mauritius, Qatar, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Kingdom of Swaziland, Trinidad and Tobago, the United Arab Emirates, and Zimbabwe. Across Europe it is 112.

There has been a rash of onion sprinklings in some of the rougher neighborhoods I have heard. There was a scallion drive by in Falls Village.

You’ll have to ask one of McDonald’s biggest fans, President Trump.

Well if the person called the damn police over onion on his sandwich do you really need to ask how he could possibly eat the crap, I would say he is a French fry short of a happy meal!! No pun intended!!!
