A negative correlation can be statistically significant, too. You could well simply by predicting the opposite of Phil.

Maybe I can send some of our maintenance men over to ya, Gator, to give you a hand. They recently took me up on my complaints of an animal in my attic. Using the photos I provided of the bent-back pieces of roof flashing, they filled the hole with expanding foam, bent the flashing back, and then put in a row of screws to keep the flashing in place and the critter(s) in place (OUTSIDE!).
Why do we do this dumb a** stunt every year?

Aristotle (no less) claimed that some animals could predict the weather. But his choice of prophet was the hedgehog. Groundhogs just don’t cut it.
