Along the same line of thought I remember a General from the Army or Air Force who gave a commencement address. He indicated that when he got up in the morning he made his bed. He began his day with an act of ordering and structure that he would attempt to carry on through the rest of the day. He further added, if that day did go badly at least he could return that evening to a made bed!
