Natgas is moved through the pipes by water pressure. Water freezes when exposed to cold temps.

This was a huge problem in the 70’s cold snap, leading to the explosion of all-electric homes.

I think you mean “by compressors”.

Water is REMOVED (along with other gases) during the processing of raw, wellhead gas ...
