Does that mean I won’t continually get updates that won’t update and/or the wrong links?

Fortunately, the current build of Windows 10 Home Edition (the corrected version of Build 1809) is actually quite good. And Microsoft will phase in a new version of Edge that uses the Chromium browser code probably by late this year.

Why the hell can’t Microsoft leave good working things alone?
They took out my Windows 7 which was nice and put in a corrupted Windows 8. Now they are going to take that out and put in another half-assed program I don’t really need or want.
Hell, I’d prefer to go back to Wordperfect 7 and still have discs for it. IT WORKED WELL.
Is there any law in business or govt that says “If it works well, let’s fuck it up”?

Theres also Palemoon - palemoon.org
Its curious that Microsoft is going with Googles chrome as the foundation of their browser.
Theres a move on, by chrome. To ban all ad blocking plug ins. Have to wonder if google didnt pay Microsoft off.

If Microsoft would quit re-writing the same software over and over again (and charging us for it), and focus on new products, then we would probably have flying cars and hoverboards by now.
Also teleportation and time travel.

microsoft’s ridiculous policies of not allowing newer browsers to install on older OSes as well as making their failing P.O.S Edge browser their “flagship” is totally self-destructive ... ironic given that the original Microsoft browser drove Netscape out of business ... i guess what comes around, goes around ...

Hey, today i noticed YourPhone.exe running in the background today (via
Process Hacker ) and looked it up, which
Tom's Hardware reports :
New with the Windows 10 October 2018 Update, Microsoft's Your Phone app allows you to send and receive text messages from your phone or access all of its photos right from your desktop.
Thought this may be of interest.
