A liberal CNN commentator pointed to the familiar red "Make America Great Again" hat as a trigger for her distress.
"Just think about the symbol of that red hat. When I see the 'Make America Great Again' hat now, Chris, I'm triggered, I'm so triggered," said Angela Rye during a segment on Chris Cuomo's Tuesday show.
The hat, she said, is a symbol of President Trump's policies — policies she said are bigoted.
"This 'Make America Great Again' hat is just as maddening and frustrating and triggering for me to look at as a KKK hood. That is the type of hatred his policies represent," Rye said,

The only thing that’s worked consistently for leftists is the racism card. They glue it to everything they want to destroy.
Politicians fear it, businesses fear it.
So all they have to do is take advantage of that fear by tying the Make America Great Again message to their ‘civil rights’ propaganda. Only leftists have the right to not be triggered.

The “Make America Great Again” hats doesn’t represent racism to these people.
It represents the worst political loss in their entire life. The pain from that night for them still lingers. And the Hat reminds them of that pain.

This is part of what I call the Democrat Vampire Effect.
They use Pavlovian conditioning on themselves to the point where they start to feel actual pain on seeing things like a Christian cross or a Bible, a MAGA hat, anything pro-life, etc.
And the effect keeps getting stronger with them, to the point where they can no longer function in society. They become depressed, aggressive, and even violent towards strangers, and remain so hyped up they see “the enemy” in everyone and anything.
Other people living their lives becomes intolerable to them, and they want to outlaw or destroy anything not part of their zeitgeist.
In many cases it leads to clinical mental illness.
So can we be “triggered” by Black Lives Matter Hats, Shirts and Banners? I would run the other way if I saw group coming down the street with BLM hats.
And the da** pussy hats the left is so proud of are totally ugly AND inappropriate.

Not bad, but niggardly means cheaply (as in cheapskate) - I will grant that a triggered one probably would not know that.
