Cardinal Dolan: Why are Cuomo, Democrats alienating Catholics?
It’s been a rough time for faithful Catholics recently in our state government’s frantic rush for “progressive” ideas.
I’m thinking first of the ghoulish radical abortion-expansion law, which allows for an abortion right up to the moment of birth; drops all charges against an abortionist who allows an aborted baby, who somehow survives the scissors, scalpel, saline and dismemberment, to die before his eyes; mandates that, to make an abortion more convenient and easy, a physician need not perform it; and might even be used to suppress the conscience rights of health care professionals not to assist in the grisly procedures. All this in a state that already had the most permissive abortion laws in the country.

For sure. They are JINOs. It makes no sense but the Leftist mind is diseased.
Of course the Church could enlighten their flock to the fact that TENS OF MILLIONS OF CHILDREN HAVE BEEN ABORTED thanks to the Democrats.
But they never seem to get around to doing that.
Excommunicate? I’d be willing to bet my next paycheck that Cuomo is served Communion the next time he goes to Mass.
The Church won’t even take THAT basic step. They’re useless.
Cardinal Dolan was on Fox & Friends yesterday morning but I caught only a few seconds of it, so don’t know if he was questioned on the abortion law or any other important topics.

They seem to be unaware that most Christian denominations are becoming just as divided politically/spiritually as can be seen in the Catholic Church these days. I suppose the natural reaction is to paint ALL Catholics with the same broad brush...but it is simply not logical nor knowledgeable.
There are huge numbers who CLAIM to be Christian without LIVING it much at all...across the board. We need to ignore the traps of the satan to have us turn against each other so quickly without having accurate information.
Our culture is increasingly secular and we all need to put on the armor of God and stand together to fight against it in EFFECTIVE ways.

Actually, there are many good priests who do exactly that. They got no notice from the media at all. Perhaps that could be the reason you are not aware of it.
All the Catholics I know here in TN (there aren’t many) are extremely pro-abortion. Many donate tons of money to the “charity”, Emily’s List, and to Planned Parenthood. Creeps me out being around them — an aura or something. They won’t miss Mass on Sunday for any reason, yet are happy to help kill babies.
I don’t know for sure....but if he does, I can pretty much guarantee it will be where he has access to a dissident priest.
I have heard from some in NY that he has not presented himself for communion in a long time.
The Second Vatican Council (1962-1965) was truly the self-immolation of Catholicism. Consequently Archdioceses, Dioceses, Parishes, and all other entities that are recognized as Catholic today are no longer Catholic. Nor are those who self-identify as Catholics actually Catholics with the exception of a small and diminishing remnant of the faithful who have refused to participate in the unholy charade we see today all around the world.
