A cure for cancer? I can live with that. My version of the topic seems to be gone. Theres so many I know who are still in a fight. If this is true. Its on the level of a miracle. Also, when one is gone it doesnt mean theres not other types. If this really is true, its huge.
I don’t know, but here’s a ping, anyway...
well, after reading it, it looks like a pretty good approach to this evil. it just attacks on three fronts instead of one. it sounds like an enhanced chemotherapy within the target protein chemo paradigm. i hope and pray it’s a success and less toxic as claimed in the article. we’ll see.
They mean it will take a few weeks for their stuff to get through the entire body and kill all the persons cancer.
i read it and it looks like a serious approach to enhancing chemo. we’ll see. i hope God blesses their efforts because we sure need a better chemo.
If true then they better not take any plane trips.
If its truly viable then big pharma will shut it down and the researchers will mysteriously die in a plane crash.
Theres too many billions of dollars being made treating cancer, theyre not gonna give that up.
Bump for later.
Sounds really good. But pardon me for not holding my breath.
The cure will be boycotted by all the Islamic countries and by the EU.
everything in that article actually makes sense ... IF they can do the things they say they can do, then I think these guys may really be on to something big ...
I’m old enough to remember the joy that swept us all when the polio vaccine was finally made available to the public en masse - let’s hope this turns out the same way.......
Am halfway through a six month course of chemo.
A few weeks sounds pretty good.
A cure for the common cold would be the next step.
After this is sufficiently explored, developed and understood.
Funny that it would be easier to cure cancer than the cold. Or maybe not.
May lead to a serum for protection from radiation...
What they mean to say is that the treatment will last a few weeks. The cure is permanent.
It says in the article that the duration of the therapeutic regimen is expected to be a few weeks. But their lack of definitiveness illustrates how immature the approach is. Treatment durations for cancer tend to swing back and forth. Chemotherapy is still scheduled anywhere from twice a day to once a week, over a month or six months.
What they are saying is that the cancer patient has to send in the biopsy, and the treatment is then crafted based on the markers within the cancer cells. Each treatment is a unique cocktail of drugs. It’s going to be an expensive treatment.
My wife was diagnosed in July and died in September. It probably would not have been enough time to deliver the goods.
