100% of the flights at Dubai are international - that’s what the article is pointing out. Atlanta is largely domestic - though it feels like 105 million people are there on any given Friday afternoon. :)
UAE is quite interesting. Each Emirate has its own government. Dubai led the way, but Abu Dhabi may be more elegant now. Only about 10% of the population are UAE citizens. There nearly 100 shopping malls, with some amazingly exotic. One reason that they may be blessed is that theyve allowed even welcomed international churches to meet in a rather large designated compound area that has multiple buildings. I also attended a totally normal international Christian gathering at a Marriott hotel.
