Please pardon the vanity
need some clarity on this.
So this begs the question: what if Trump tells them to shove it: we're building it anyway. What happens next?
Contempt of court citation issued?
Is there a way once the 9th Circus moves, to expedite it to the Supreme Court?
Just a guess but with it declared a national emergency I would say yes.
Is there a chance of the Senate approving another 9th Circuit Judge in the next 2 1/2 weeks?
If he declares an emergency and they declare an injunction and he continues...then he gets impeached. And he would probably lose in the Senate.
Dismissing the courts is not something a sitting President does. It doesnt matter who it is.
I hope Trump files this week and has a friendly circuit review the order...before the Democrats cherry pic their court......of course the death of RGB would overshadow the event.
I forget Which President, when an action of his was ruled against in court, told them to come and enforce it?
How many divisions does he have?
Was it Jackson?
Any GOP senator who would vote to convict in that case should get the Ceaucescu treatment.
Andrew Jackson.
That is what Nixon thought. They will turn on him in a second. They are (mostly) just waiting for an excuse.
Republicans will cuck-and-run, and remove him from office.
FDR
Executive Orders
In times of emergency, the President can override Congress and issue executive orders with almost limitless power. Abraham Lincoln used an executive order in order to fight the Civil War, Woodrow Wilson issued numerous ones related to US involvement in World War I, and Franklin Roosevelt approved Japanese internment camps during World War II with an executive order.
Dismissing the courts is not something a sitting President does. It doesnt matter who it is.

Obamacare was recently ruled unConstitutional by a federal judge.
I don’t see anyone clamoring to follow that order.

Do you not remember Obama & Co. defying court orders on border issues, and blatantly lying to the courts?
Andy Jackson?
I do not understand why what a District Court does applies beyond their district. The Constitution never meant for one person to have that much power. Once it’s decided in the Supreme Court, that’s when a judges or District Court’s ruling becomes the law of the land.
Remember, Justice for leftists is different from Justice for Republicans. That has been a fact of life for more than 10 years
