No War Of The Worlds?I think the early 50’s version was good.
Scared the crap out of me as a kid. Would not look at my windows at night fearing one of those colored light things would be out there.
I think the 1953 version of The War of the Worlds was superb. It is recognized as classic and no way is it underrated.
Yes, the 2005 Spielberg version has better acting, better overall production values, and is closer to the source material, but that earlier version wins me over.
