Even worse are those that stink and then just apply a layer of perfume (mid-east arab males, usually, and pakis and indians—dot, not feather).
Gawd. . the smell of BO mixed with a thick scent of some mid-east perfume is nauseating.
Some 35 years ago, back in NYC, I was on a subway platform, waiting for a train. About half the platform from me, I saw the most beautiful girl I think I had seen up to that moment. Gorgeous beyond belief. To make matters worse for me or any other man that saw her, she was wearing the tightest shorts ever, and a very revealing tank top. She was apparently looking for help with directions. She asked a guy and he shook her off, seeming to indicate he couldn’t help her.
My turn!
I approached her, confident that I knew the subway system very well. She looked at me, understanding that I was going to help her and smiled. I smiled back.
I got within 5 or 6 feet from her, and I felt like I was smelling hell. She smelled worse than a sewer. But, not really the sewer smell. More like onions and garlic and a whole bunch of other bad-smelling, rancid and putrid food that had been left under the sun for years.
I had to hold my breath while at the same time pretending that I had not noticed her pungent smell. I gave her the appropriate directions, while keeping my distance. She was looking to thank me by shaking my hand. She didn’t speak English, but indicated where she wanted to go on a sheet of paper where an address was written. I pretended I had not noticed her extended hand, and just walked away as quickly as I could.
The horror! The most beautiful girl I had ever seen, and very unapproachable because of the stinkiest odor anyone could ever conceive. I made sure I got on a different subway car, and just kept on thinking about how pitiful it was that she didn’t even have a clue that she smelled like hell. Don’t get me wrong; I had been around that kind of smell before, but nothing even approaching the strength of that girl’s body odor. I have never smelled anything so horrific ever again, not even on a man exercising for hours and swearing profusely.
I’ve always felt that if that girl ever lost her odor, that should could have been the most beautiful movie star or model ever.
Hulka, my post was tongue in cheek. Duplicate posts rarely trouble me, unless it's the fifteenth time I've seen the same report in the same day.
Her deodorant had let her down
She should have used Odorono
