Awesome! Especially since I know about a hundred non-theater vets who changed spark plugs stateside for a few months and now have $1900/month PTSD. My favorite is the “Navy Seal” who was “dyed orange” from his work with the Air Force “killing women and children.” Had the tattoo and everything. No BUDS class - too top secret for that stuff... But always the $2000/month from the taxpayer.
limbs were blown off, people shot and mangled and horrible atrocities suffered and witnessed and yet they came home and went to work or school.
Thank you, unfortunately we know a lot of people in on this type of scam as well. It is not just military personnel claiming to be disabled by PTSD these days. I know people who were retiring who were not complaining about PTSD symptoms who were told they should so they could get extra money tacked onto their check.
I also have known people who have real problems who won't admit it and suffer in silence. I also know people with PTSD type symptoms who cause a lot of problems for themselves and their families by “self medicating” or just being nasty and sometimes violent a-holes.
Have you got a veteran son living with you
at home, who suffers with PTSD? I do.
Your generalizations are unfair.
PTSD is very real, and he earned his
VA disability check. It’s what’s paying
his medical bills.
