FBI Director Wray on shutdown: 'I'm about as angry as I've been in a long, long time'
FBI Director Christopher Wray addressed the government shutdown in a video message to FBI employees, saying he's "about as angry as I've been in a long, long time." "Making some people stay home when they don't want to, and making others show up without pay -- it's mind-boggling, it's short-sighted, and it's unfair," Wray said, noting the financial impact the shutdown has had on many government workers in its 35th day. Wray, who was confirmed as FBI director in 2017 after President Donald Trump fired James Comey, said the FBI has been "actively advocating" for its employees, just not in the press because of the highly polarized political climate. "You know better than most that we've been thrust into the political spotlight more than we would have liked over the past few years," Wray said. "And the last thing this organization needs now is its leadership to wade into the middle of a full-on political dispute."
He continued: "But let me also be very clear: We're actively advocating for you left and right, at every level. We're having conversations day and night with people who can have the most impact, to show them how much this is affecting all of you and your families, and how it could affect the work we need to do for the American people. We're just not doing it in the press." Wray adds that "even seemingly straightforward statements can be hijacked by one side or the other."

Not because of the “Russians” While Trump was putting in 20 hour days Hillary was nursing a hangover for a week after getting asked pre-arranged questions on the Steve Colbert show.

Yes. What I saw today with the Stone arrest is that the FBI is way over staffed. I served 6 warrants today at 6 different locations against active felons with weapons, trafficking, and gang charges.
There were three of us. Three of us. Two in the front door. One in the back.
It took the FBI 29 people to arrest an old man, at dawn, who would have shown up voluntarily on a phone call.
That was embarrassing. On a ton of levels.
And they held up a warrant service on this “oh so dangerous” old man just so CNN Could get there and film it??? Jesus, FBI. Think about it: CNN had enough head’s up time to fly out a crew from Atlanta to be ready, on scene, and the FBI held off to wait for them to get ready. Wth. Did they learn nothing from Waco? Idiots.
This battle is far from over and this three week reprieve does nothing bad to the future of the wall.
The SOTU can be given at any time or not even this year. Trump will do it when it favors him.
Your schedule and demands are not paramount to anyone, save for the extent they will be met with how it comes together.
I am afraid Mr. Wray has just answered a question that many freedom loving patriotriotic Americans have been asking themselves for awhile now. Is our government so corrupt that the only way for change is direct violence against it?
Clean your OWN house Wray. You’re mad? Everyday Americans have it times millions.

They did this before too with Manafort. A friend of mine is a retired FBI agent and she’s absolutely outraged, said all the top brass need to be fired and I would start right away with this Christopher Wray. Why is a video of a personal speech between him and agents appearing on CNN? Why did he feel the need to make this video about ‘his anger’ the same time Stone was set to be arrested? Is he sending a message to Trump? Did he release this video to CNN as well as tell them about the upcoming arrest of Stone? Trump should drag his ass into the Oval office and demand an explanation and if it isn’t a beaut, ask for his resignation effective immediately.

Search the bio of the lead CNN reporter. It seems he is a former FBI Agent and worked for Comey. Which of the 28 raiding agents tipped off the CNN reporter?
