There’s a best side, and she’s been showing us that one for the last five decades???
I saw an interview of Dawn Wells about Gilligan’s Island.
She pointed out some interesting things. Ginger always had to have her left side facing the camera. Since then I have noticed that was absolutely true.
Oddly in the few times you get to see her right side, it looks the same as the left. She probably had some incident in which she thought her right side was not as pretty.
She also mentioned that Jim Backus was always a bit insecure. He would often ask Dawn if he was OK in some scene.
She and the professor always had a private joke about them being originally billed as “the rest”. They wrote each other as long as he lived. Not anything romantic, they were just friends.
Dawn was way cuter than Ginger.
That's a shame -- sounds like a break for Jimmy Kimmel. Thanks EveningStar.
She WAS sitting on her best side. Bottoms up
Hotter too.
Lucky, lucky popsicle....
She was more Ginger than Ginger, at least to me...
#7 It looks like the ocean will claim the house one day.
#28 Guys were looking below her chin when she wore that tight dress.... BTW Mary Ann!
Why she’s no fun, she fell right over.
I read about the truly insane lengths that she went to to have her “good side” filmed in The Mirror Has Two Faces. I thought she was crazy then. It seems like she’s just as crazy now. And its a little ironic. She made a name for herself in the 70s as a comedy actress by being willing to look silly and ugly at times. Something changed her in the 80s. I guess she started to get some buzz as a “serious actress” and it went to her head.
Is she the one that sang “Second Hand Nose”?
Her best work was on 8mm film in black and white.
