Too many streaming services are following the old cable/satellite model — having to subscribe to select tiers to get the channels you really want.
The channel lists I have checked still have 50% or more channels I would never watch.
I have stated before: the service that offers full ala carte can own the streaming business in a short while.
It's going there, but the providers are kicking and screaming. for example, ESPN charges them an arm and a leg, and that would be one channel I would do without. Each channel should stand on it's own and charge what the market will allow. I see channels like BET offered on Spectrum, I don't want it nor should I pay for it.
