I heard Trump, and I found myself focusing on "...they (or we) have agreed to..."

Trump said this multiple times: we have agreed.

I think he did the right thing here to look reasonable, and the "delay" is not that long. Trump will hold the ying-yangs to"we have agreed". If that does not happen then, he'll pull the pin.

Just heard on the squawker that Trump has called the press to return. He wants to say something else...

"And you're all doody-heads!"

Watching the news - the hair pulling and gnashing of teeth re “the wall”, I wished I could reach through the monitor and tell those people, “Good news. Hope is not lost.” :)

People knew Trump was a master negotiator coming in to office. Once there, they no longer want him to use the tools of negotiation which have brought him success. Now, (too) many perceive everything he says as the bottom line, the end of the road etc.

Sure, he had acquired the funds needed to build the wall way back when he got funding for the military. He hasn’t use those funds yet. He’s noted he could declare a state of emergency and even many lefties agree that he can do it, but he doesn’t think the timing is right.

He has reasons for what he does and if he tells us, the exposure costs him the advantages he’s cultivated. But the MSM is fantastic at stressing people out until many are clamoring for his strategies laid out in great detail, and the MSM convinces many that POTUS’ unwillingness to tell us his strategy is “proof” there is none.

One way to negotiate, is to set a “red-line” and then finally concede that red-line, making the other party feel like they’ve gotten the better deal. But this is done to gain leverage elsewhere. For example, POTUS shows that he is conceding a “big” (red-line) point, and then he (and the public) expects the Dems to concede their big point.

I don’t know what angles and optics he’s negotiating for - the above is an example. I am NOT a negotiator, but I recognize one when I see one.

POTUS says things just to upset the left sometimes, and they run upstairs stomping their feet real loud, and slamming doors, and when they get to their rooms, they play their music real loud - like petulant children. This exposes the reality of the left in a way that CNN never has.

And while this is happening, it just seems like some of Trumps’ supporters seem to panic, and worry that the left’s accusations against him might actually be true.

I am calmer as I wonder what’s going on, because I trust the plan, and he’s still done more than any other POTUS. Some of his accomplishments were thought impossible (North Korea) and all the while, many on both sides were yelling, “OH NO! Look what he just did!”

I call congress critters and message the White House for what I want to see happen, and I vote and encourage others to vote, as is my right. In the meantime, as I red-pill, I watch his academy-award-worthy negotiating Kabuki theatre with genuine interest. I can’t think of anyone else who could handle the challenges he’s dealing with better - I’m content.

Pelosi and Schumer just said they will agree to what the conference committee recommends.

Everyone gave.
