Taking something that’s offered to you is now stealing? Wow!
To: C19fan
Looks staged.
Eagle is tagged. Fish is conveniently placed for the eagle to see and steal? Nope, for the simple taking.
There are hundreds, perhaps thousands, of eagle videos on YT and elsewhere on the internet which are more interesting than the video posted.

Article states fisherman saw the eagle circling and placed the fish next to his Go-Pro so there was not any deception only sensationalism by the DM in its title.
And still a good shot of the tagged Eagle, which many are.

It was funny. The bird looked like a high school kid shoplifting at a 7-11, trying to act nonchalant, like “nope, no shoplifters here”.

IOW, staged. The eagle didn't 'steal' like the article said. It was a "here's a free meal, come and get it" video.

Are you usually so sensitive and so easily offended? Especially by unimportant matters?
I merely said that the video was staged. The fisherman placed the fish where he knew the eventual outcome. I was not accusing him of posting sensationalism. Getting a nice video is not the same as posting sensationalism. I agree that the sensational headline didn't come from the fisherman.
Now, go get some meds and calm down. Worry about bigger things in life, like, what will we do when we finally meet our alien ancestors? ;)

I agree. Plus camera is rolling to capture the event. Phoney but nice that they fed the eagle.

Exactly. I think that fish was put there just for the eagle to come and get. This is all a put on.
Good for fisherman to help out the eagle but bad for him to openly lie for the attention.

While fishing at a local lake an angler down the shore left his spot to go to his car. He was no more than 100 feet from his spot when an Osprey swooped down and grabbed his stringer along with 4 nice trout.

That’s the bird’s name, Dint Doonuffin.

I was at Hampton Beach, NH a few years back and observed a young girl walking back from the pizza shop with a fresh slice on a paper plate. A SEAGULL swooped down and grabbed that slice right off her plate and kept going. GOD I love nature!

Looks staged.Anyone who lives near Bald Eagles can have this type of opportunity to film them like this. An eagle has great eye sight. If you live near a river with eagles you can throw a dead fish in to the water and an eagle will swoop down and snatch it. Have some great video of that. You can also place it on land and do the same... on the water we go up river from the eagle nest and let the fish float on top while we get our video. Staged but fun to watch every time.
