KANSAS CITY, Mo. They just wont die.
The Patriots survived a wild, back-and-forth game to beat the Chiefs 37-31 in overtime in the AFC Championship at Arrowhead Stadium. The win puts them back in the Super Bowl for the third straight year and fourth time in five years where they will face the Rams in two weeks in Atlanta.

I mean for that play against the raiders. I said it in artfully. Made no sense for the play that happened.
He brisked nothing but phantom hamds cant rouch Brady
“Give credit where its due...He is going in the books as the greatest QB ever”
The Montana/Favre debate was settled by the stats. If memory serves I think Favre posted better numbers. There is always a lot of squishy mitigating factors involved but... numbers settle any dispute.
Add in some “home cooking” by the referees...
Horrible call by the refs and one to be expected for the Patriots when the game is on the line.
I told the wife that after watching both games, I would lay money that the league told the refs to let them play and only call the most egregious interference penalties. While I enjoyed the game not being stopped every other play for some penalty call, I find it hard to believe that reffing in the NFL has gotten so bad that even the top crews are missing that many blatant penalties in such premeire games.
I thought that was a bogus call, too, though not blatantly bad. But I also thought that one or two of the pass interference calls against the Pats were bad calls and they gave the Chiefs extra scoring opportunities (where their drives would have been stopped).
I dont like how a ball carrier can lower his head and use his helmet but the defense has to throw a shoulder
Its ridiculous
They fear class action is what it is
Do you REALLY want to go the NCAA OT route for the NFL playoffs? As it is, I've seen a lot of fluky plays in college OT determine a game, usually in favor of the team that didn't deserve to win. IMHO, the NCAA OT rules need some change as well. If nothing else, start each team at the 40 instead of the 25. Better yet, start at the 40, eliminate 1st downs and give the offense a maximum of 9 or 10 plays to score. Since there already is no clock in college OT, what difference would it make to dump 1st downs?
No. I don't want teams to start at the 25 yard line away from the end zone nor do I want them to mandate going for two points at some point. Just keep the existing NFL OT rules used during the regular season, but mandate that each team have at least one offensive possession even if the team having the ball first scores a touchdown. Pretty simple change.
You can see the hand brisk face mask on way down. See reply it’s obvious the was no daylight between the perps hand and Brady’s mask

Chiefs defensive coordinator fired today. Only a few seasons too late; their defense sucked last year too. I guess he came same time as Andy Reid.
