Hi, Vision! I forgot about the thread after that awful ending to the Saints-Rams game. There was a horribly blown call that cost the Saints a trip to the Super Bowl. You can’t believe it! Not only was it pass interference, but it was also helmet-to-helmet targeting, and the refs didn’t call either! Here it is:

Hi Gina, yes that looks like the refs were on the take. Amazing it wasn't turned over.

It was inside the last 2 minutes, so it couldn’t be challenged, and the booth didn’t review it, although the NFL leaders immediately acknowledged to Coach Payton in a phone call that it was a blown call.

Oh, I wish we’d been able to hear it on the radio. I don’t have any idea why ESPN radio wasn’t airing it.

The last five minutes of the Chiefs/Pats game was, well.......there are games, and there are games. This Mahomes kid has enough legit skills sets from raw physical talent to intellect to make a for long, fruitful career out of it. Props to Brady, his trainer, his coach, his regimen, but it's time new blood was transfused into the league. I really belie my age when I call Brady too 'old', and I'm fifteen years his senior, but no matter where he lands, he'll do just fine.
