No big push to remove the 11,000,000 plus people who are here illegally....

Cavemeister's still quoting the old leftist figure for in-country illegals from 30 years ago.

It is amnesty, both for the 700k and the 30-60 million others here illegally. They are not being deported, they are rewarded for illegal actions.

that’s the problem, we want a big push to deport as many illegals as humanly possible, along with a wall to deter them from coming back.

I think I supported Trump to keep the illegals out and send some in this country back.

Normalizing their status here to satisfy the business community’s lust for cheap labor is a non-starter.

There was a decision dropped nine days ago on Friday January 11th that will give some people in this country on H1B visas a pathway to citizenship.

Not well publicized being released on a Friday, but it happened nonetheless.

". . . there will be no big push to remove the 11,000,000 plus people who are here illegally"

I'm okay with not pushing to deport eleven million illegals immediately . . . I'll settle for deporting ten million in the remainder of President Trump's first term. We can get the rest in Trump's second term, once the Wall is being built as a serious project.

As I pointed out quickly yeterday, there was NO AMNESTY in his reasonable offer. He proposed a 3 year extension on defined Daca ( only children brought here— not their parent) and a new work permit status. I sense that there are trolls that want to separate you from Trump by telling the Lie that Amnesty was proposed. Please people, Think through these things before you knee jerks.

The demonrats turned it down so start the DACA/anchor babies’ deportations. If their parents want to go with them, fine.

“Likewise there will be no big push to remove the 11,000,000 plus people who are here illegally”

Well, he just declared defacto amnesty... and got nothing in return. More 4d chess.

I am still of the opinion the Mule-ears planted the BuzzardFeed story to get Ohr quickly off the headlines. Then, once that was accomplished needed to undercut that story, to lower his fellow coup supporters expectations since he still has nothing.

If they admitted at least 40-45 million people were in the country illegally people would freak out that over 10% of the population doesn’t belong here. I’ve even seen people on FR deny this because they said it was too many people and “it’d be impossible to deport that many people peacefully”.

This is an invasion.

Amazing how President Eisenhower deported thousands of illegal aliens with only a fraction of the technology, manpower, and military might that exists today.

There are close to 25 million illegal aliens living in the country right now. They are having anchor babies, they are draining state taxpayer resources on things like education, housing, and medical care.

I will wait until actual legislation is proposed and voted on. I know Trump is doing this as a negotiating tactic to highlight the hypocrisy of the Dems saying they support the Dreamers only to not support them when they're not going to get instant citizenship under this deal.

But everyday, more and more Americans are dying at the hands of illegals and pretty soon those beloved Angel Moms are going to start questioning Trump and his policies.

Unfortunately, yes, he is. Not a good sign. Just like it’s not a good sign that Kushner and Pence have been tasked with folding on this for him.

And nobody giving an amnesty on this has admitted that it’s an amnesty for decades now. By law they should all be sent home and Trump is looking to push their violations aside so they can stay. That is amnesty. Whether or not it is permanent or comes with a citizen card attached (yet).

The people whining about a million DACA brought here illegally but now registered are ignoring the million that come in legally every year who have less value to the country. Even using the 11,000,000 numbner, the DACA do not matter. The vendetta to deport DACA is misguided and vindictive.

The correct approach is what Trump is doing: use DACA amnesty as a bargaining chip for more wall and immigration reform in the future. Extending work permits for 3 years is not amnesty. We can absorb a million registered DACA easily. We cannot absorb a million like them a year, plus 11,000,000 or double or triple here without any sort of registration.

Trump has always emphasized LEGAL immigration -- and deporting CRIMINAL Illegals.

The "gray area" with Trump has always been with is those who are here illegally, but are not violent criminals....

Ideally all illegals are deported. Trump's remained unclear on that and probably will allow them to stay lawfully, if he gets the wall to block Terrorists, drug dealers, etc.

I can assume there also won’t be a big push to collect my taxes is I decide to ignore that law, right?

Freakin RINOs, all this crap could have been solved in the past 2 years and we would have kept the house as well from the Illegal immigration party. When the hell are people going to STOP electing and reelecting Democrat operatives? Why the hell was McCain reelected so many times?

Reagan was criticized by "conservatives" over the 1986 Reykjavík Summit, saying he'd yielded too much to gain too little. In reality, Reagan's steadfast defense of preserving SDI (which the Soviets feared) proved to be a critical long-run success in this "failure."

I believe The Wall is developing in to Trump's SDI, his "no new taxes." This cornerstone of his campaign promise on illegal immigration seems to be his Last Stand. Similar to nuclear arms reductions (which Reagan's own people decried) and SDI (which made Reagan a laughingstock with those in and outside of his circle), I get that Trump will have to break some eggs to make an omelette.

Pushed between a Wall and deportations, I'll take the Wall.

Have to say I am very disappointed in Trump's proposal. It is Amnesty and we get next to nothing in return for this sellout.

The only answer to this ongoing invasion, which is tearing apart this once great nation, is to put our military on the borders in numbers to absolutely stop the invasion in its tracks and to have the Army Corps of Engineers build a Real Wall that cannot be breached.

The life of our republic hangs in the balance as we are at the tipping point of no return. If this is not done....We are Done as a sovereign nation.

Hello Third World America!
