We don’t know where they are and judges have blocked us from finding out. This existed prior to Trump. He did not cause it.

“As I pointed out quickly yeterday, there was NO AMNESTY in his reasonable offer. He proposed a 3 year extension on defined Daca ( only children brought here— not their parent) and a new work permit status.”

Sure thing Skippy, but since none of them I.D. or legal birth records, how will know when they got here or who brought them?

How do you sort them from those who jumped the fence last week?

I agree with you. I have lived through a bunch of Presidents from Franklin Delano Roosevelt to Donald J. Trump. And, maybe, just maybe, with the exception of Ronald Reagan, POTUS, Trump just about called all the right shots. I’m with him. He will win!!! Standby!!!

Wow, judges really do have a lot of power.
Legally, they end up getting slapped down by SCOTUS, but guess what? What they’re doing, ties his hands for 1-2 years, which is their aim. It’s called obstruction.

Then you can vote for whoever the Democrats nominate in 2020 for President instead of Trump.

All I know is we’re seeing repeated caravans tromping through Mexico, and not a damn thing is being done to stop it. Stop talking and do SOMETHING!!!!

“No, Amnesty is not a part of my offer,” Trump tweeted. “It is a 3 year extension of DACA. Amnesty will be used only on a much bigger deal, whether on immigration or something else.”

So it’s not amnesty now but rather amnesty later? :-) OK. At least Trump is trying. But I am not sure he has the votes to get his wall no matter what he gives away.

Shh.... Many Freepers know it all, especially about Trump, his plans, and how easy it must be to run a country.

The rest of us are just gullible fools according to our esteemed Never-Trump experts. Now, please don’t confuse these experts with facts or alternative opinions. It just makes them angry.

agreed, some people think Trump can just wave his magic presidential wand and make it happen and everything else is a "cave"....the cave talk is idiotic

Many Freepers would rather blow kisses and throw flowers at their bhagwan than actually hold him to his promises.

You did not read my post carefully. I do thank God for Trump. I supported him probably before you did. But I do not think him beyond criticism.

By that same reasoning, what was the point of SDI if we yielded on nuclear arms reductions?

The point on SDI was that reduced nuclear stockpiles wasn't a binding constraint. That didn't scare the Soviets...SDI scared them. By keeping SDI, the Soviets worried and fretted and ultimately imploded.

The Dems fear the Wall like the Soviets feared SDI. Trump understands the current logistical - and PR - challenges of deporting and DACA, notwithstanding the Rule of Law. From a tactical perspective, arguing for the Wall at the expense of deportations and DACA (never mind that much of that activity would contnue anyway) is brilliant.

Our good FRiend LS has said often, we'd love to get it all - Wall, Hillary in prison, deportations - but we won't. We need to pick our Line in the Sand. I think the Wall is that Line. If he yields on DACA etc, but gets the Wall, few Deplorables or centrists will stay home or vote for the Kamala Harris/Spartacus Dem ticket in 2020. If he yields on the Wall then it is 1992 all over again.
