I use a Traeger pellet smoker. It is a completely different beast compared to a charcoal burning cooker. I’ve been quite pleased with what it will do, and it’s light enough to move around on a smooth surface. I keep it in the garage and roll it out for use. I do want to build a BBQ hut on the deck outside of Mrs. Augie’s sun room, but that project hasn’t yet made it to the top of the list.
The blizzard that was predicted to hit us has turned out to be vaporware. We got a very light dusting of snow overnight, but no accumulation to speak of.
The predicted cold, however, is upon us. I have plenty of firewood, but I do need to check the propane tank. Cold showers are no fun.
Thanks for the link. We didn’t get much accumulation either, and the sun is out now, so greenhouse should bring me some additional heat. Really cold this AM. I turned on the electric throw to get my feet and legs warmed up while drinking coffee.
