Gillette is a mountain that can be climbed, so it must happen.

Here's the issue: SJW executives are addicted to virtue signaling and when they do they never EVER admit that they made a mistake. They double down, they call the complaining customers names like racist, misgynist, you name it. The list is long of companies that resolve to just lose money rather than admit they made a mistake because that implies that their SJW values might be ... GASP! ... not considered perfect.

So Disney lets Star Wars circle the drain while calling the fans toxic for not liking it anymore, Dick's Sporting Goods closes stores rather than reverse course and blames the customers, various video game companies see their profits tank after calling their customers racists troglodytes for not thinking that black female nazis in WW2 shooters make sense, etc.

My guess: we can collapse the profits from the Gillette product line and P&G will take the loss and keep it open just so they can stick it to those that don't share their SJW values.

I agree with everything you say, but Gillette will not be able to hide facts like sales being cut in half. This will send a message. Future corporate junkets might begin to feature speakers that warn against the impulse to preach to customers. This is how you begin to bend the arc of insanity.

Here's some friendly advice - stop worrying about legacy companies and brands. Take a look at any composite metric over the last 100 years, and you'll notice there's a consistent turn-over of even major enterprises.

The reason? Technology never sleeps - the sum total of human knowledge continues to double approximately every 2-3 years. So, while extremely mature consumer products companies attempt to ride the social reward wave, major changes are already afoot that will render their efforts moot & obsolete.

Example: genetic engineering is rapidly becoming a reality. We are very close to wide scale commercial applications which will impact both medical and cosmetic industries. Result? Women will elect to utilize applied gene therapies that help improve physical attractiveness. Likewise, men will select methods that make them more virile, more masculine, in an attempt to increase their sexual success.

Meanwhile as these industries literally rocket in growth and impact culture & society in ways we can't even predict, the vestiges of failed and ridiculous attempts towards social conditioning will be viewed as nothing more than a curiosity. And the firms that rode those campaigns will fade just like so many of yesterday's major influencers.

EA Games filling their new WW2 Based Battlefield 5 with Women and blacks fighting the big war with a virtue signaling SJW storyline.

Nothing like seeing a woman or black run buy or shoot you in a Nazi uniform.

The players caught on early and it is the lowest selling Battlefield in years.
EA stock is tanking.
