Yep, I did a little bit of cursory research. P/G owns Dawn, and Tide among others. Pretty much everything else I don’t use. I’ve been buying lesser priced alternatives for many things for a while, this is just a couple more. I’m not going to voluntarily give money to companies that find it necessary to invoke national ad campaigns to insult me. F ‘em.

Tide is easily replaced. Is there a good alternative for Dawn?

Walmart has their own brand they claim is equivalent but not a product of the mfg of Dawn. It may be labeled 'Great Value' or similar.
