WELLINGTON, Fla. (AP) - The Florida Board of Medicine says a West Palm Beach surgeon has agreed to pay a $3,000 fine for removing a woman's healthy kidney that he thought was a tumor.
The Palm Beach Post reports Ramon Vazquez was responsible for cutting Maureen Pacheco open in 2016 so two other surgeons could perform a back operation.

I did that to illustrate the language barrier that people here (particularly those in highly-skilled medical fields) are supposed to surmount, not as a nod to leftist “bilingual” initiatives. (And I used online dictionaries.)
Notwithstanding, this quack should have said “Where’s my copy of Grey’s Anatomy?” (no matter the language) long before he undertook to be a professional surgeon who ends up “mistaking” a healthy kidney for a cancerous tumor; the kidney tissue itself, the adrenal gland and the ducts leading in and out ought to have been recognizable.
