No I am saying the same thing but with greater clarity. I was not in a position to post more because I was in a hurry.
Their control is limited by what the armed population will let them do.
I know of what you speak, albeit from the periphery. In the past I have worked in programs involving NOAA, MDA and DOD officials. NOAA is the worst of them. Heavy handed, condescending, hateful and snobbish towards We, the People.
I have often wondered about the true legalities concerning DC as a territory rather than a state. Does this make them exempt and insulated from laws written for “the United States”?
Because it could actually be compared to Porto Rico making law for the union of states even though it is not even a state in the union.
Well, I don’t think the dirty tricks being played using the IRS and the FBI could have worked if those agencies weren’t happy to screw conservatives and/or republicans (not the same thing).
What I have found is that every Fed.gov employee hates their job.
Particularly the left-leaning ones. I guess they are less willing to accept the world, and other people, as they are, and that has to be particularly frustrating in a large bureaucracy like a government agency.
My brother in law was until about a year ago a deputy director of a govt agency. He is conservative and he said he was one in a million.
People whose very livelihood depends on big government ... They might actually hate those of us who believe the U.S. Constitution only allows for a small government?!
Wow. I’m shocked.
;)
People keep saying that but they follow their paychecks and the safety of their families.
Conservatives believe in smaller government.
Smaller government means less opportunity, fewer promotions, less pay and smaller pensions for bureaucrats.
Our interests are diametrically opposed.
Fire ALL the nonessentials, NOW!
Chickens
>> just about *everyone* who gets *any* kind of government check votes Rat.<<
I know that’s true, but I’m retired, worked for the Federal government for about 30 years, and I’ve never voted for a ‘rat in my life, and never will.
I’ve worked for the DOD for the past 20 years, this isn’t true in the least at least within DOD.
It’s 70/30 conservative there and that may be generous on the 30 side of the equation.
Sweeping generalizations DO NOT help our case here.
>>Their was a time they were public servants, now they are union members.<<
Except on Capitol Hill. Last I heard Congress had prevented anyone working on the Hill to unionize.
>>You would not believe the stuff I hear and see.<<
C’mon SMARTY, we’re all friends here, give us some of the gory details.
Agree plus there’s this statistic “
” Thirty percent of all employees of the federal government executive branch are veterans ....”
Let’s assume that at least half of those veterans are conservative. Also the FedGov is not uniformly unionized and something like 27% are union. Of the federal union the Treasury Employees Union is the most radical.
>>The DoD has all the firepower and he who controls the armaments rules ultimately. You are too stupid to figure this out. Shut up you sound like an unhinged liberal troll.<<
Now now, girls, let’s not get hostile! I bet if you two met face-to-face you’d be asshole buddies in no time! Ha Ha!
>>Worthless lot contributing little to anything.<<
They are a pampered lot alright, and a large percentage of them could be fired today and the quality of government services to “We The People” would be greatly improved. And I speak from 30+ years of close observation as a Federal employee.
My Wife’s Stepbrother works for the Commerce Department, a Career Employee. He hated POTUS Trump before the Shutdown.
I can only imagine how much his hatred has grown since I’m 1000% sure he blames him alone for the Shutdown.
He has lived all over the world in Government provided Housing and Per Diem. I’ll bet he has banked most of his Salary all these Years and he will be retiring young with a nice Pension.
Nice guy and smart as a whip, but a Liberal to his core.
