If Trump signs a National Emergency EO, citing the humanitarian crisis, crime crisis, jihadis coming in from all over the universe crisis, etc, I don’t see that there would be any standing for a judge to stop it. Of course I know nothing. They may try, of course. Did you see Steven W.’s comment about 17 lawyers (or however many it was..hmm, 17 again??) coming in to advise Trump regarding an EO. I assume it’s the N.E. EO and they’re going over it with a fine tooth comb to make it tight.
I said it Friday. To go to the courts to stop the EO would be sedition, subject to immediate arrest and imprisonment. Trial by military tribunal.
