hammer? Who uses a hammer to kill a cow or is that what it’s meant for? Sorry.. don’t get it.
A person who won't use a gun or a knife might use a hammer..but who said those tools were for killing the cow? And...cows ain't got no thumbs or fingers, so they couldn't use a gun...and I know proper butchering technics, but it IS a cartoon, and even the artist has said that sometimes when he gets done drawing the 'toon he doesn't know what it means.

A cow would make tools based on what it knows...so, a cow pie tool, an udder shaped tool, a deer antler shaped tool, and a moose antler shaped saw. ...all not very advanced since cows are rather slow.
