The limited range is a killer for a performance bike. I would think cheaper electric scrambler-sized bikes with much less weight, less performance, but fun about town bikes would have a good market even if their range was only 70 miles.
$30,000 is a mighty expensive toy and the limited range tosses out touring, long commutes, and trips to the beach.

Electric scooters have been around forever. Give them a bit bigger battery, and they can go the 110 miles easily.
