Amazon CEO and founder Jeff Bezos said that he will divorce his wife of 25 years, MacKenzie Bezos, in a tweet on Wednesday.
"As our family and close friends know, after a long period of loving exploration and trial separation, we have decided to divorce and continue our shared lives as friends," the couple wrote in the statement.
"If we had known we would separate after 25 years, we would do it all again," it continued.

OK, show me where the "lady on the shuttle" had a degree in any useful subject/training/skills/experience that would push her job market value higher and I will start to have sympathy.
I see a lot of people who essentially waste their high school/college education by not applying themselves or taking courses with no economic value. Then when all they can find are low level jobs they complain and talk about people on the bottom only getting scraps.
As far as I can see most of the people on the bottom threw away their chances for a better life by ignoring the advice they were given in their younger years and not taking advantage of the free education every American is given. Then when they have no skill, no training and dim prospects they complain about their situation and try to vote themselves money from the public treasury.
No one held a gun to her head and forced her to take a job at Amazon. If she wants a better job she needs to improve her skill level.
She has the same face as Mr. Ed.
Jeff probably now has that huge ego and hits on anyone he can. My guess is he will be the next hit in the METOO movement.
The wife is going to take him for all she can and find a boy toy or two to soak up the tension and the pain and then will move on with her life.
And pushing the Bezos Operating System (BOS) when it looked like Apple might go belly-up.
Really? I didn’t know bezo had anything to do with BeOS and Be inc.
Ouch. Me talking OOMA again. My apologies. I have zero proof of that. A delusion Ive been living under for years!
Not me. I love free markets, but what we have created here is unsustainable. We are beginning to regress into a 3rd world economy; a very privileged few at the top with every luxury to be had at the snap of the fingers, and everyone else just “getting by”...or not.
The corporatism we have going on in this nation is not a “free market” economy. It does keep getting called that though, so the snake oil salesmen like Sanders can attack it and persuade the masses to go all in on becoming Venezuela.
My first thought. He bragged about her brains before. Now, he will just go for what aging wealthy men go for.
Washington state is also a community property state; any assets obtained during a marriage except through inheritance are considered equally owned. Unless Bezos started Amazon with assets that were his separate property at the time of the marriage, and that he clearly kept separate and did not commingle with marital assets, then she would be entitled to half of the Amazon stock. Different story if Amazon was in existence at the time of the marriage and was his separate asset; but even then there would be a fight over the value of Bezos’ time spent during the marriage in making that ostensibly separate asset more valuable.
Lex Luthor (Jeff Bezos) has been in an adulterous relationship with Luthorcorp (Amazon) for years, and she is a jealous mistress.
Post of the Day.
Agreed.
Massive regulation of the least wealthy plus massive bribery by the wealthiest equals an enslaved market.
Why is everyone assuming that any new side piece is a chick...?
///////////////////
Because 95% of the male population still prefers females, Just like we would assume that any rattlesnake we came across was a poisonous snake. Sorry I’m not “open minded” enough for you.
For 67 billion, I’m sure. Tiger’s wife didn’t look like she could kick ass, but put a 6 iron in her hands and men run.
Dang, Yogi! That’s tagline material right there!
