Rosenstein expected to depart DOJ in coming weeks once new attorney general confirmed

Source: ABC News

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is expected to leave his role in the coming weeks, multiple sources familiar with his plans told ABC News.

Rosenstein has communicated to President Donald Trump and White House officials his plan to depart the administration around the time William Barr, Trump's nominee for attorney general, would take office following a Senate confirmation.

Sources told ABC News Rosenstein wants to ensure a smooth transition to his successor and would accommodate the needs of Barr, should he be confirmed.

Rosenstein apparently had long been thinking he would serve about two years, and there was no indication that he was being forced out at this moment by the president.

From that article, I think the Deep State wants to get the (protest) party started since Trump “cheated them” out of riots when he exposed the Dems re the wall instead of declaring national emergency in a (their) “timely” manner. Here’s what I think is the DS hint.

“During his March 2017 confirmation hearing to become deputy attorney general, Rosenstein told Senators he would “certainly” resign his post if he felt he was being inappropriately pressured to influence an investigation.”

I wonder if Rod knows about this - I think the last time the DS used him (e.g., story about him offering to wear a wire) he felt thrown under the bus.

Hey guys, remember this one? It's another "FUTURE PROVES PAST" moment.

POTUS Says Appointing Acting Cabinet Heads Grants "More Flexibility"

Scaramucci model?
Public opinion (optics) do not matter.
Temps can be very dangerous to those who are targeted.
Q

Bagster theory:

Using the "SCARAMUCCI MODEL", Acting Attorney General Whitaker was placed for the reasons that Q posted above, and his mission (one of them, but an important one) was to make [RR] an offer he couldn't refuse. Hence, his going quietly into that good night (for now).

This is a knife in the heart to the "nothing's happening" crowd.

All good things come to those who wait.
